MACARTHUR MEMORIAL PARK

A progressive new parkland in Sydney's West, this grand memorial park is a testament to innovation in how we manage the interface between life and memorialisation across diverse multicultural communities.As part of an extensive multi-disciplinary team, we have been engaged to contribute vast landscape planting designs covering community facilities, memorial areas (to suit a range of diverse internment typologies), associated building amenities and parkland spaces developed as part of the project.This site being within an endangered ecological community, we have been honoured with the challenge of re-establishing critical endemic vegetation whilst simultaneously fulfilling the design requirements. This has ultimately led to designs which imbue these spaces with very unique identities.This project truly is a monumental undertaking. With construction already underway, we're so excited to see each stage come to life!

WALLACIA COUNTRY CLUB

We have had exciting opportunity as part of a multi-disciplinary team to undertake the complex task of transforming the country club over a staged development into a nine-hole golf course and memorial park (Nepean Gardens) and then later into a shared parkland.This particular project involved extensive endangered vegetation management and careful planting design in order to accommodate the new golf course design and facilities upgrade.It's always such a rewarding role to contribute to the future provision of public space and amenity. With construction yet to begin on this project, we're already eagerly awaiting the next opportunity!Currently under construction - more images coming soon.

LIVERPOOL MEMORIAL GARDENS

Liverpool memorial gardens will create a unique space celebrating the seasons and their relationships to passing time. In conjunction with FJLA who designed the hardscape layout, we used our extensive planting knowledge to bring the design to life with our vivid planting composition, which will transition across the site according to each season. This brings a changing atmosphere as the four sections of plants bloom and shed at staggered intervals throughout the year.The goal is to have users immersed in a sensory experience provoking deep contemplation and reflection while walking up the planted isles, fountains and featured art sculptures. It's going to be incredible to show the finished project here soon.Currently under construction - more images coming soon.

MARONITE MEMORIAL AREA

Featuring an intricate walkway, sophisticated bridge and laser-cut shelters, this site brings an evocative celebration of Maronite culture as well as the achievements of some of its most prestigious Sydney community members.In conjunction with our favourite counterparts - FJLA, who drove the hardscape design, we had the pleasure of contributing to layout and planting design to give the site the essence it deserves.There was particular logistical challenge in preserving the heritage canals on site and integrating them seamlessly into the new design.As a new practice, this along with so many of our projects are in the process of approval and construction, but we're itching to show the end result.Currently under construction - more images coming soon.
